A Friend Indeed

It's Friends of the Library Week and we want to give a shout out to the Friends of the Gravette Public Library.

The Friends of the Gravette Public Library is an independent organization formed exclusively to support the facilities, resources, and services of the Gravette Public Library. In other words, they are here to help your local library so that we can better serve you, our community.

The executive committee (shown in the photo) meets monthly. Membership meetings are held at the library each quarter with the next meeting scheduled for November 18th.

You'll find the Friends at Trick-or-Treat Main Street from 4-7 PM Saturday, October 30th outside the KidSPACE entrance to the Gravette Public Library. While you're on Main Street, consider purchasing tickets for the Hog Raffle. Roy Perrine is donating the hog and Southwest City Processing is donating the processing. Buy one ticket for $5.00 or five tickets for $20.00. The winning ticket will be drawn at the November 18th Friends membership meeting. We hope the winner has a BIG freezer or a lot of family and friends with whom to share his or her prize.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve the community, consider joining the Friends of the Gravette Public Library. Click here for more information.
