2022 Moon Over Main to be on IOMN

We enjoyed seeing everyone who attended Moon over Main Street on November 13th. The temperature was cool and the skies were clear when the event began at 7:00 PM. Members of the Sugar Creek Astronomical Society set up telescopes on the north side of the street and the street lights were extinguished while stargazers of all ages made their way to downtown Gravette.

We're already planning next year's Moon Over Main Street which is scheduled for Saturday, October 1st, 2022 which is also International Observe the Moon Night (IOMN).

The Gravette Public Library is one of 60 libraries nationwide selected to participate in NASA @ My Library. We appreciate the support and look forward to our next two events, one of which will be held in late spring or early summer where first images from the James Webb Space Telescope will be revealed. The final event will be the summer reading program which begins in July 2022.
