How much does it cost to get a library card?
Library memberships are free for residents of Benton County, Arkansas. Non-resident family memberships are $15.00
How long is my library card valid?
Library memberships are valid for three years. Online membership renewal is not currently available. Please stop by the library to renew an expired membership.
How many items may I check out?
Children/youth under the age of 18 may check out five items. Patrons who are 18 years old or older may check out 10 items.
How long may I check out items?
Checkout times vary depending on the items.
* Books may be checked out for 21 days.
* Discover Kits may be checked out for 14 days.
* DVDs may be checked out for 7 days.
* Hotspots may be checked out for 7 days and will automatically renew twice so long as the device has not been reserved by another patron.
* The telescope and microscope may each be checked out for 7 days.
How do I reserve items?
Items may be reserved at the Circulation Desk in the library, calling the library at 787-6955 ext. 2, or online by clicking on the Browse Catalog tab and logging into your account using your library card as your userid and your last name as your password.
When the item is available, you'll receive an email or text message and may pick up the item at the library. If you wish to retrieve the item outside of library operating hours, simply call the library at 787-6955 ext. 2 and request that the items be placed in the pickup station in front of the library.
Does the Gravette Public Library offer interlibrary loans?
Yes. We can request the book from another library. There is a $3.00 fee for postage.
What are the fees if items are overdue?
The Gravette Public Library does not charge overdue fees for books and DVDs. However, if items are not returned, lost, or damaged where it cannot be returned to circulation, the account will be charged a fee to cover the replacement of the item.
Overdue fees of $1.00 per day are charged for hotspots, Discover Kits, the telescope and microscope. Replacement fees apply to missing components or failure to return the item. Internet service will be deactivated for hotspots that are not returned by the due date.
